Station Road has been categorized as “trad” but brings much more than that to the stage.  Their upbeat music with personalized twists to local and traditional favourites, coupled with their electrifying yet relaxed stage presence invites their audience into a fun filled, upbeat kitchen party.

The band has a knack for implementing traditional instruments into songs that are not typically found in the “trad” genre. Station Road plays many local favourites including Wagon Wheel, Tim Finnegan’s Wake, Ordinary day, and drive it home with more contemporary tunes including Little Lion Man, Copper Head Road, and Shipping Up to Boston!

With an eclectic selection of music in their catalogue (traditional, pop, country and classic rock) their variety pleases just about every musical palate. Station Road believes audience interaction is key to engaging the crowd and filling the dance floor.

They are a five piece band consisting of Steve Knight (Vox, Guitar), Andrew Freake (Vox, Guitar, Banjo, Mando, Bodhran), Larry Walsh (Vox, Guitar, Mando), Kevin Harnum (Vox,Bass) and Robert Buck (Vox, Drums).
